This same culture is evident in the active involvement and strong connection of our alumni family all around the world who regularly come back to visit, organize reunions, share their news, memories and insights, and support those who follow in their footsteps.

We deeply value the connection with past students, parents, faculty and staff who have all shared the unique experience that is ISKL. “ISKL had the slogan of 'big school opportunities with small school feel' and I think that pretty much sums up my experience at ISKL. ISKL (the old Ampang campus) was the smallest international school I attended but was also the closest knit community I had throughout my childhood years. I made some of my closest friends during my time at ISKL as well as the closest relationships with teachers and staff members. After having moved around a few times, it felt like the perfect way to conclude four years of high school at ISKL, being in a community that I felt that I belonged to.”

“Junior year I traveled with a group of students and teachers to the Philippines on the Habitat for Humanity trip. The whole week we were serving and working hard to help the people of this village. We stayed with a local family and I remember feeling overwhelmed by their generosity. They had so little, and yet gave us so much. The week was sweaty and tiring, but so satisfying. I very clearly remember riding back to the mainland on the ferry, with an overwhelming sense of peace.”
