On November 15 – 17, the ISKL Community was treated to the stunning and atmospheric MS dramatic adaptation of the novel The Weight of Our Sky by internationally acclaimed Malaysian author Hanna Alkaf.
This year’s GAP trip took place from November 1 – 6 and involved 448 students and 50 faculty/staff on 25 itineraries who traveled to various parts of Malaysia and Asian countries.
From October 4-6, the Robert B. Gaw Theatre was jam-packed with audiences attending the High School’s Performing Arts showcase, Shrek the Musical.
At their second VOX ISKL parent workshop, leading experts Nick Haisman-Smith and Joe Tchen from The Institute for Social and Emotional Learning (IFSEL) shared practical strategies for enhancing communication and resolving conflict.
For over 40 years, ISKL has upheld the tradition of Malaysia Week. This program offers MS students an interdisciplinary educational experience that exposes them to outdoor activities in Malaysia.
ISKL is delighted to share that our school was announced as the winner of the Excellence in Education award at the Think Global People and Relocate award ceremony held in the UK in June.
The 2023 Senior Awards was held for 154 graduating students and recognizes students who’ve shown dedication and passion for academics, sports, visual and performing arts, and community service.
At the 2023 ISKL Graduation Ceremony that took place on June 3, families, faculty, staff, friends, the Administration, and the Board of Directors came together to celebrate 154 graduating students.
Expert facilitators and educators from The Institute for Social and Emotional Learning (IFSEL), Nick Haisman-Smith and Joe Tchen, joined us for a special workshop on the importance of social and emotional learning, how it contributes to academic success, and how parents can nurture their own family’s well-being.
