ISKL’s Class of 2016 will leave ISKL for destinations both near and far. Of the 150 graduates, some graduates will participate in GAP Year programs, while others will enter the finest universities worldwide.

The award is accorded based on the Ministry’s assessment of 10 criteria including Establishment and Registration, Institutional Management, Curriculum Management, Teaching and Learning, Assessment / Examination Management, Teachers’ Management and Development, Discipline, Standards, Cleanliness and Cheerfulness, and International Teaching Management.
On Wednesday, June 1, 2016, Emily Jane Yin Gumal from Sarawak and Arvin Raj Krishna Kumar from Kuala Lumpur were warmly welcomed into the ISKL community from two local government schools to join in Grade 11 and pursue the IB Diploma program beginning 2016-2017 school year.
Over the course of two days our Panthers competed against local schools and our IASAS friends at Jakarta Intercultural School and the International School of Manila.
Sarah’s presentations to ISKL’s High School and Middle School students inspired them with details of her perseverance and about how writing served as her personal sanctuary during trying high school years.
The 2nd Teachers Teaching Parents (TTP) was attended by 60 parents, focusing on professional development ideas to enhance student learning.
Julia Cook’s visit to ISKL was a wonderful experience to add to the excitement of the Book Week celebration at Melawati Campus!
ISKL students Eugenia Kwon and Diane Hare were recently named Commended Students in the 2016 National Merit Scholarship Program.
The 2nd TEDxISKL Talks, themed “Tomorrow Today”, provided a unique look at many issues our society will face in the future.
Cathryn returned to ISKL for this third weekend workshop. At this institute, Cathryn lead an exploration of concepts to further advance how your classrooms and schools authentically incorporate best practice of service learning, which is essentially best teaching and learning, period!
