This year’s GAP trip took place from October 15 – 20 and involved 440 students and 50 faculty/staff on 25 itineraries who traveled to various parts of Malaysia and countries in South East Asia.
The fifth in our series of Panthers of ISKL focuses on service learning. It incorporates personal documentaries of how the charitable endeavors of individuals benefit the ISKL community and beyond.
Join us as we explore further into learning how our young learners at ISKL become all that they are by discovering passion and interest via the ISKL co-curricular program.
In celebration and reflection of this year’s theme, we have compiled some answers from women in our ISKL community to share their thoughts on the importance of gender equality in the challenge to protect our planet and mitigate the current environmental issues we face.
Their rich experiences have shaped their personalities and character, where they have left a profound impact on the ISKL community through their kindness and PAWsitivity! Gabriela and Katerina are currently based in Dubai, completing their 12th grade at their new school, and are dearly missed!
When I first came to ISKL, I was terrible at English, so that I couldn’t speak much, but that didn’t hinder me from making friends. Everyone celebrated their differences here, and they supported each other.
