Six ISKL IB Higher Level artists gathered at the Ampang library with their family and friends to celebrate their opening exhibition on Tuesday evening, April 11, 2017. The exhibition is a culmination of two years of prolonged focus to produce very creative artwork including drawings, paintings, prints, and sculptures.
During the two years, students develop their own theme, focusing and expressing their feelings and opinions on a topic of their choice. Below each artist’s section of the exhibition was a photocopied version of their sketchbook. This allowed viewers to learn more about the artist’s methods, and see the planning stages of their work.
“This year’s IB students worked very hard to develop creative, enthusiastic, detailed work, with lots of meaning. As showcased here at the IB Art Exhibition, they produced a good body of work over the two years. I’m very proud of the work they have done, and you should all come and see it.” – Mr. Ian Davidson, IB Art Teacher.
