DYNAMIC-COMMUNITYIt was nothing but gold medals for the ISKL Middle School teams this week. It started off with our girls’ volleyball team playing at Sunway International School on Monday. Our girls won a thrilling three-set semifinal and cruised to a second set win in the championship to capture the first gold. On Tuesday, our U15 girls’ football team traveled to Garden International School, they battled hard in the top division games and came from 2-0 behind in one of their matches to pick up our second gold medal. Not to be outdone, the boys’ volleyball team entered the championship on Wednesday at ISKL confident and undefeated in the previous tournament. They easily handled our Blue team, but lost a three-set game to the International School Desa Park (ISP). The finals provided the setting for an exciting rematch. Our boys looked both polished and energetic as they swept ISP to gather in our third championship. On Thursday ISKL hosted the U13 girls’ football championship. The pouring rain did not dampen the spirits of the girls as they went undefeated throughout the tournament and hauled in our 4th and final medal of the week. Well done coaches and players on an unbelievably successful week.
