Jom Belajar: The History of Batik

In this week’s episode of Jom Belajar, we look at the history of batik and learn how it’s made. Batik is both an art and a craft, and has come to be used as a generic term which refers to the process of dyeing fabric by blocking areas of cloth with hot wax, to prevent it from absorbing colours.
