In Elementary School, the Learning Resource program supports students with their academic, social, and behavioral skills growth.

The Elementary has a Learning Resource specialist at each grade level and works collaboratively with grade-level teaching teams to ensure a high-quality core curriculum that is differentiated for the learning needs within their classrooms.

In addition to helping teachers through co-teaching, co-planning and co-assessing, Learning Resource specialists use a Multi Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) model, to review data and identify student needs with teaching teams to provide targeted research-based interventions. These targeted interventions may target areas such as mathematical number sense, phonological awareness in reading or emotional self-regulation. Interventions are delivered during flexible groups in instructional time at the frequency and duration for the student need.
