Nadia Redza ’17 competed in the SUKMA 2016 games. SUKMA stands for Sukan Malaysia, also known as the ‘Malaysian Games’ often referred to as the Malaysian Olympics. It happens every two years bringing together the top athletes in Malaysia. This is Nadia’s 3rd SUKMA games and because she represented Malaysia at the 2014 Commonwealth Games she is only allowed to swim in two individual and two relay events.
Nadia contributed to the Selangor team three gold and one silver (two individual gold and one relay gold and one relay silver) as well as setting a new personal best time of 2:26.55 in 200m backstroke!
