We extend our warmest congratulations to the outstanding students who were recognized at the Grade 9-11 Awards Ceremony, which took place at the Robert B. Gaw Theatre on June 9, 2023.

The ceremony was a fantastic opportunity to acknowledge the students’ exceptional academic and co-curricular achievements in academics, sports, arts, leadership, and community service.  Their passion and determination have exemplified the true spirit of perseverance, proving that anything is possible.

In his opening remarks, High School (HS) Principal, Jeff Farrington expressed his appreciation of the hard work of ISKL’s HS students, saying, “As demonstrated by your recovery from very arduous years, you have successfully navigated adversity. You have demonstrated a sophisticated ability to learn and evolve, and your year was successful because of your ability to adapt to changing circumstances, build on past successes, embrace feedback, and adjust strategies to fit different contexts. Congratulations students, and thank you.”

During the ceremony, various faculty members presented speeches and highlighted the nine students who received major awards based on their acts of kindness, selflessness, and commitment to being global citizens. They were:

 

Aside from the significant honors awarded, many other students were also recognized through the Service and Sustainability and IASAS Awards, and Departmental Awards for Academic Excellence, and Passion and Dedication.

Congratulations to all the award recipients! We celebrate your triumphs, unwavering spirit, and pursuit of greatness. May this award ceremony begin a lifelong journey filled with achievements, happiness, and fulfillment.
