Specialist school Counselors in each division are responsible for supporting students in all aspects of school life; social, emotional, and academic. The Counseling team also assists with new experiences associated with living overseas, adjusting to an unfamiliar culture, and providing support for students experiencing a new transition. Students have access to grade level advisory sessions and workshops that focus on well-being.
Our commitment to nurturing well-being is not just to our students, but also extends to our parents, faculty, and staff. The school regularly hosts programs and workshops that focus on topics such as parenting in a digital age, supporting a transition, and wellness strategies at home.
In November 2020, ISKL was shortlisted for an award in the International School Awards 2021, in the ‘Wellness Initiative’ category, which focuses on addressing the unique needs of students in a way that has a positive impact on student well-being. The International School Awards are hosted by ISC Research with the support of International School Leader Magazine.
