ISKL and The International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO), held The IB Advantage event Monday, February 5, at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The first-ever event involving the collaboration of these two not-for-profit organizations, the evening was aimed at local families interested to learn more about the International Baccalaureate (IB) and ISKL’s IB Diploma program, the longest-running such program in Malaysia.
The Crystal Room was packed with over 130 guests and was attended by the media. Our moderator, Datuk Shireen Muhiudeen, ISKL graduate and Managing Director of Corston-Smith Asset Management, set an engaging tone and welcomed each of our speakers, Mr. Faizol Musa of the IBO, Mr. Michael Ortiz and Ms. Cheri Goodwin of ISKL, and two of our IB Diploma recipients from the Class of 2007, Ms. Karthini Mahendranathan, and Ms. Ika Muzamal.
The evening was very well received by all accounts and, we’ve been asked by the IBO to make this an annual event. Many thanks to all our participants and guests for making this a truly first-class evening.
