Passing of Former Head of School
It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Mr. William Powell (Bill), former Head of School at ISKL (2000 – 2006). ISKL was truly fortunate to have had Bill as the Head of School who served with a great passion for education, enthusiasm, dedication, and commitment. Bill really never left ISKL apart from the professional development programs he annually conducted. He also joined the ISKL community at our 50th anniversary and most recently at the historic new campus (Ampang Hilir) Groundbreaking Ceremony in April 2016.
After leaving ISKL, Bill and Ochan went on to form Education Across Frontiers and Training Associates for Cognitive Coaching and Adaptive Schools offering professional development opportunities around the world, such as Cognitive Coaching, Adaptive Schools, or the Next Frontier- Inclusion. Bill is certainly well known and respected worldwide in international schools.
His death is a loss that will be felt by many as he has positively impacted the lives of educators and students around the world.
