Faculty alumna Sally Purbrick-Illek (ISKL Middle School ’87-’89) is making waves as a dog trainer in her adopted home “Down Under”. After ISKL, Sally and her husband moved back to Berlin for several years where she taught in international schools, before making the move to Australia where Sally took up a teaching role at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. But it’s her passion for dogs that is grabbing attention with Sally gaining a reputation as a leading dog trainer, especially for working dogs in urban environments. Sally was featured in this month’s edition of the Gold Coast Get It magazine.
