It’s in our nature at ISKL to remain positive, whatever challenges come our way. We know We have so much to be thankful for at ISKL, and gratitude is the theme of this special video we have put together to celebrate our 55th Anniversary.

We asked 55 current and former students, parents, faculty, and staff to tell us what they are grateful for at ISKL. Their many varied answers, with perspectives from across the decades, will make you smile.

Another positive – our new Elementary Rooftop Playground, made possible by the Inspiration Fund and Development Fund, has started to take shape with many of the larger elements lifted by crane onto the rooftop this week. We are so grateful to the many current families and alumni who helped us raise the final RM55,000 to complete the project by purchasing our ISKL 55th Anniversary Pewter Panthers.

It was truly heartwarming to know that when alumni Scott Roberts offered a matching donation of RM10,000, it took less than half a day for the amount to be matched. It is a testament to our community’s Panther spirit – thank you.  Photos of construction can be seen below, and we cannot wait to open the playground to our students and see the smiles on their faces.

Once again, my thanks to our community for the patience, support, and flexibility demonstrated during a week that has required us to switch learning modes at short notice. We know it has not been easy, and we are grateful for the strength of the partnership we share with you.
