Welcome back after the break, I hope you and your family enjoyed a restful holiday and are ready for the remainder of the academic year. We have much to look forward to in the coming months!
We place a high value on lifelong learning and over the coming two weeks we will be holding In Service learning forums for all faculty and staff. In Service forums such as this are designed to enhance skills, understanding, and professional development. During the forthcoming sessions, we will be addressing key elements from our Strategic Plan including further developing DEIJ mindsets, exploring the competency Ethical Impact, and reflecting on our Service and Sustainability practices. Each of these elements is a critical component of our Vision and Mission and we are looking forward to these opportunities to grow together as a professional learning community in support of our students.
Wishing our IASAS athletes – Badminton and Golf (International School Bangkok), Baseball and Softball (Singapore American School), and Track and Field (Jakarta Intercultural School) – good luck as they compete in the final tournaments for this academic year (March 29-April 1). It is one of the great joys and benefits of being an IASAS member school that our students have the opportunity to travel, experience the inter-cultural hospitality of families and schools in the region, and compete at such a high level. Go Panthers!
With the start of Ramadan last week, we also wish all our Muslim community members a blessed month. Ramadan Kareem!
In partnership,
Rami Madani
